From the beginning of design development, I felt as though I was designing this sofreh aghd for myself. My bride was one of the sweetest and easiest brides ever. With pretty amazing taste herself, she so graciously gave me full range to prettify her sofreh to my liking. Of course when I say to my liking, I kept in mind her colors, her wedding theme, her venue, her style and so forth. One of the first steps we took together was to find the perfect mirror. The mirror on any sofreh is the focal point and often times finding the right one can be challenging. Then we have found the sofreh seats – where the bride and groom sit. These too can be hard to find so we put our energy into getting our hands on these pretties first. After many months of anticipation, my bride’s decor was finalized with her sweet wedding planner Kat Minassiand the amazing team over at White Lilac Inc. I then was able to start designing her sofreh based on her decor. The decor consisted of soft romantic pastel pinks, mirrored accents, gorgeous appliqués, touches of silver and gold, and basically pretty overload. On a beautiful sunny San Francisco day I had the pleasure of designing this sofreh. It will always be one of my favorite projects. I can’t wait to share the professional set of images where you will see this sofreh come to life with all of the candlelight, soft lighting from the gorgeous chandelier above the sofreh and of course from the love between my bride and groom. Wishing my bride and groom endless love and laughter. May all your days be as beautiful as this day was.
